Preservation: Policies, Plans and Procedures (Seattle, WA)

 Presented By: Balboa Art conservation Center


Collection policies, plans, and procedures will fulfill an institutional commitment to preservation, if established systematically and managed mindfully. Participants will learn the purpose, function, and components of a collection management policy. Collections management procedures, such as handling guidelines and storage environments will be highlighted, and the process necessary to develop a conservation/preservation plan will be discussed.  Examples and tools will be provided to help participants put lessons learned into practice.
