Financial Planning & Tools for Collecting Organizations (Manalapan, NJ)

Description: As the economy continues to change and remain uncertain for many in the nonprofit community, some organizations are revisiting current budgeting practices and exploring new options to better navigate a changing environment.  This session seeks to present collections care staff, volunteers and executive directors with a primer on the fundamentals of nonprofit finance, in order to better equip them to interpret financial statements and assess their organizations’ financial health.  In addition, this workshop will also provide a review of basic budgeting practices and cover more advanced concepts and tools, such as program profitability analysis, cash flow, scenario planning and the systems replacement plan.
