Beginner's Guide to Digitizing Collections

 Presented by:  Northeast Document Conservation Center

Brief Description: This webinar covers digitization of family and personal collections, including documents and photographs. Participants will learn what types of scanning projects are possible in the home or small office environment and when it may be more suitable to have items digitized in a professional photo lab. Equipment, software, safe handling, and file management will be addressed.

Anyone interested in learning simple steps for digitizing paper-based collections is encouraged to attend. This webinar is intended for those with no previous preservation training, and is most useful to anyone caring for small family or personal collections.
