The Regional Alliance for Preservation provides information and resources on preservation and conservation for cultural institutions and the public throughout the United States.
This two-hour online class will help you lay some of the basic groundwork needed to implement Public Broadcasting Core metadata in your institution. For those familiar with MARC or other cataloging schema we will discuss how Public Broadcasting Core developed and how it supports the cataloging of strong AV collections and how that might be integrated into your workflow. This class is funded in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Division of Preservation and Access.
