Identification and Preservation of Prints

Presented by: Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts

Description:  Prints date from a wide range of eras, represent many different genres, and include an incredible variety of themes. The preservation of prints must take into account their intricacies, as well as the specific needs of their media and supports. This workshop will provide a history of printmaking and an overview of printmaking techniques. In hands-on sessions, participants will learn how to identify examples, recognize common condition problems, and properly handle and house print collections. Registration, secure credit card payment, and additional program information are available at: www.ccaha.org/education/program-calendar.
